TURN TO ALLAH
INTRODUCTION:
Turn to Allah before you return to Allah. Separation from Lord is not something that can be done overnight. Separation happens gradually, imperceptibly until it’s far away. You may move away from Allah step by step, feeling your heart harden until it turns to stone. It is a terrible feeling, and it often happens when we let our minds go unnoticed for too long. It can start by Neglecting an act of worship, delaying prayer, despising one’s sins, running behind Dunya, and falling into bad habits of being too comfortable.
There may be many reasons, or just one, but in the end, you may feel that your life has lost its meaning. Anyone can experience such separation. Even practicing Muslims! So let’s focus on HOW rather than WHY. But we can Turn to allah with the help of Spiritual guide.
Spiritual life consists of reverential reverence for God and submission to His will, to Allah as mentioned in the Quran’s verse, “Allah loves them and they love Allah ” (5:54), and knowledge of Allah that is the supreme goal of creation. The spirituality of Islam is a quality of love, always colored and conditioned by knowledge, and based on the already practiced obedience involved in living according to Shariah law.
Guidance of Allah To Turn Back To Allah:
How Guidance of Lord Is Important To Turn Back To Allah that we need to recite and ask for in prayers (in Sura al-Fatihah) five times daily .
Allah, He has guided them with the truth, so today we know whether the people of the world are on the path of righteousness. With God’s guidance, a person can distinguish between right and wrong, and walk the path firmly.
Guidance is what breathes life into the human soul, facilitating the path of human spiritual Awakening and perfection. Without guidance, the path to turn to Allah in life is unclear and can lead to misdirection and even personal ruin.One is that guidance can only be given by Allah, Prophets, Imams, and Messengers are all means of human guidance. But the absolute guidance belongs to God who is Alhadi (Guide) and the Messengers belong to the manifestation of this attribute of Rabb.
Tauba and Turning to Allah :
أَلَمْ يَعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ يَقْبَلُ التَّوْبَةَ عَنْ عِبَادِهِ
Do they not know that it is Allah who accepts the repentance of His servants?
Almighty Allah asks people a question in this verse. Don’t they know that he alone accepts his creature’s repentance? No need to go to someone else. This verse encourages us to return to Allah after leaving Lord because of disobedience, negligence, or distraction.
The word Tauba means turning back to Allah or turn to Allah. It can be described as the return of the soul to its purity after it has been polluted by sin and turned away from Lord’s mercy. It is also a return from the realm of physical nature to the realm of spirituality and nature (Fitra). Almighty Allah is pleased with the servant who turns to Allah.
Imam al-Sādiq (a) says: When a servant turning back to Allah with sincere repentance.GOD loves him and covers him (i.e. his all mistakes and sins ) in this world and in the Hereafter. Imam Al -Sadiq was asked ‘how does He cover him? Imam replied, ‘He will make the two angels forget what they wrote about his sin. Then He inspires the parts of his body with the words “Hide the sins he has committed against you”, and he inspires the earth with the words “Hide the sins he has committed against you” So he meets Allah. When he meets Him in such a manner that there is nothing to give witness against him regarding the sins.
How believers can Turn To Allah? :
Two more turns take place each time a person turn to Allah. It is for God to turn to man so that he/she may turn to him. Then Lord turns to the man and He turns him to receive him, and then Allah turns to man again. This process expressed as:
1) Rabb turns to the man and gives taufiq to Tauba. This is the Turning of Allah’s mercy and mercy to humans.
2) A man makes a Tauba. This is man turning to God out of his sin.
3) Allah turns to him to receive Tauba. This is a Turning to acceptance of Lord .
Sheikh Atif Ahmed Motivational Speech for Turn To Allah :
Sheikh Atif Ahmed , in one of his blogs, said, the Prophet Muhammad SAW said that the last generation of my Ummah will face attacks like raindrops, and when they see people in their graves, they wish that they will be there instead of them. And the way of Lord will be as difficult as someone putting burning coal on his/her hand. Deen will become so complicated to people.
In Addition Sheikh Atif Ahmed used to say that We didn’t aware of the basics of Islam. He also said , We are unaware of our spiritual norms of values, our culture, because Western culture, its norms, and values have been adopted by Muslims and run like blood in their veins. We don’t have knowledge of our ideology and ancestors.
Once Sheikh atif Ahmed said Neglecting an act of worship, delaying prayer, Zina and robbery become the norm of society . After that Sheikh Atif Ahmed said to All Muslims to turn back to Allah. With the refrence of Prophet Muhammad SAW Sheikh Atif Ahmed said that Muhammad SAW said The world’s things are so beautiful and colorful that whoever sees these bills go for them. Sheikh Atif Ahmed said We can see that those who cling to the causes of this world cannot get closer to God.
Sheikh Atif Ahmed said that we much beg Mercy to Allah as he forgives us and all of our sins and starts a peaceful life.In Speech Sheikh Atif Ahmed said Let’s come to Know what were we ? How we were Created by Lord and what we do with ourselves as a nation, as an individual, as a human. He said today, we decline All of our Responsibilities and aims.
In the last of Sheikh Atif Ahmed’s blog He said :
Let’s back to the Peace .
Let’s Turn to Allah .
And let’s set our sights on Jannah, our long-term home.
Conclusion:
إنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
“Surely to Allah we belong and to Him we will all return.“
By reciting this verse, we realize our presence here is just for Lord. we are nothing without our Lord . We are running behind this world and forgetting HIM. Separation from God is a long process but we can get to HIM with the Spiritual development of our soul and with the Guidance of Rabb. God Guides us through the Holy Quran. He is giving the ways To Turn to Allah again and again in chapters of the Quran.
The Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: “God , the Exalted, will continue to stretch out His Hand in the night so that the sinners of the day may repent, and continue to stretch His Hand in the daytime so that the sinners of the night may repent until the sun rises from the west”.[Muslim, Hadith 16]
Turn to Allah, Keep asking for forgiveness from Lord with all your heart. Even just saying “Astaghfirullah” with pure intentions recites various duas of forgiveness. Because the solution to all your problems can be found in constant regret Insha’Allah.
May God help us to repent and seek His forgiveness in an acceptable way, Aameen Ya Rabb!
